These sconces are gently coved, with brass cups that securely hold a 7/8 inch candle. Finished with beeswax and oil polish. Mounting hardware set flush into back for hanging.
The candle generates heat only noticeable above the flame. This is a tested form seen in many vintage sconces, and no scorching will occur when the candle is mounted vertical.
